Ilerioluwa Obakin is a National Youth Service Ccorps (NYSC) Associate, at Lelaw Barristers and Solicitors, having joined the firm in September 2021. Ilerioluwa, a budding lawyer is passionate about corporate and commercial law practice, . He obtained his Second Class Upper Honours LLB degree from the University of Lagos in 2019. He was called to the Nigerian bar in July 2021, after successful completing his on of the professional training at the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus.Ilerioluwa’s LLB thesis was on ‘Efficiency Ratio of Marginal Oil Fields in Nigeria: Legal and Regulatory Considerations’. As an undergraduate, he Ilerioluwa participated in various Model United Nations (UN) conferences and won Best delegate and best position paper awards in Lagos Model United Nation (LMUN) 2018.
Ileriolouwa had has previously interned with the firm on three occasions, gaining hands-on experience about legal practice in various areas such as taxation, company secretarial practice and energy law. At the firm, he is currently working on publishing a joint article on Antitrust/Competition Law in Nigeria. In his spare time, Ilerioluwa takes pictures and listens to music.
