Frank joined the firm as an Associate in January 2016 and is passionate about corporate and commercial law practice, including litigation and franchising. An alumnus of the famous King’s College (KC) Lagos, Frank obtained his LLB with Second Class Upper Honours from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife in 2012 and also passed his Bar Examinations with the same grade at the Nigerian Law School in 2013. He interned with several law firms during his undergraduate years.

As a Youth Corper, he served as Judicial Assistant to Hon. Justice Y.O. Idowu of the Lagos State High Court between December 2013 and October 2014, working on civil and matrimonial cases. He thereafter worked with a midsized commercial law firm where amongst others, he was involved with real estate transactions, energy (power sector) and insolvency (especially receivership) matters.

He attended the Venture in Management Programme at the Lagos Business School (LBS) in April 2014 and was admitted as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK (ACIArb), in 2015. Frank’s 2012 LLB thesis at OAU was on ‘The Negative Effects of Energy As Regards the Degradation of the Environment’.

At LeLaw, he has been involved with several advisory and compliance engagements, such as: representation of a data analytics firm in a proposed private equity investment of US$5 million; advising and providing implementation support to several international brands on the regulatory and compliance issues associated with franchising in Nigeria; advising Nigerian and international real estate (RE) firms involved in different transactions in the RE value chain, particularly development of ultramodern mixed use spaces covering issues such as: project structuring and finance including security arrangements, title regularisation issues, hospitality industry regulatory requirements and drafting/review/ negotiation and finalisation of diverse RE agreements, etc.
