Deborah Elebiju joined LeLaw Barristers & Solicitors in mid-December 2021 as an NYSC Graduate Intern after completing her LL.B degree in Second Class Honours (Upper Division) from Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Nigeria. Her LL.B thesis was on ‘Promoting Product Liability and Consumer Protection in Commercial Transactions in Nigeria: Legal and Regulatory Issues” Her corporate and commercial law interests include intellectual property and labour law..She had previously interned at the Firm during and post her undergraduate studies, gaining practical exposure in different areas of the law. She also interned at leading Templars Barristers & Solicitors in 2019 where she took on multiple tasks and responsibilities, working with various strata of personnel.
Deborah is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb). Upon completion of her NYSC programme with the Firm, she will proceed to the Nigerian Law School for her professional legal certification prior to joining the Nigerian Bar.
