Ola is the firm’s Practice Director, recently joining in July 2017 to drive the firm’s strategy execution, focusing especially on our processes and business development. She will also be supporting delivery of the Legal Strategy Support Services business of the firm to clients. With a civil engineering background, she has gained multidisciplinary experience from undertaking civil engineering, project management and cost controller roles in Nigeria and in the UK for almost two decades.She obtained her BSc (Civil Engineering) honours degree from Federal University of Technology, Minna in 2000 and her MSc in 2009 from London Southbank University. Starting her career as a site engineer on several projects in Nigeria, Ola has worked in cross-functional roles in the Petroleum, Chemicals & Energy Practice of leading international firm Jacobs as well as with their Transport (Rail) consulting business. After a brief stint with Transport For London (the London Underground), her most recent role was as a Project Manager with MWHGlobal, in respect of the Southern Water Services’ Asset Management Programme.
A thoroughbred professional, her skills include expertise in cost analysis and tracking, cost management, budget forecasting, document control, knowledge of financial statements and reporting, project control management, data analysis, earned value management, cost estimating, auditing and presentations. Ola’s software experience includes proficiency with Primavera, Oracle, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
