Ejiroghene joined the firm as an Associate in January 2021 and her interest is in corporate commercial practice with particular emphasis on Litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Taxation.

Ejiroghene obtained Second Class Upper Division Honours in both her Bar Finals at the Nigerian Law School and from the Faculty of Law at the University of Benin, Benin City (UniBen). Prior to being called to the Nigerian Bar in 2015, she interned at leading commercial law firms where she was involved in preparing legal documents, conducting research on election petition matters and other clients’ advisory engagements. Ejiroghene’s 2014 LL.B thesis at UniBen was on ‘Oil Crimes in Nigeria: A Socio-Economic Analysis’.

Ejiroghene undertook her mandatory one year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme at the Civil Litigation Department of the Ebonyi State Ministry of Justice, Abakaliki, where she imbibed the tenets of public sector law practice.

Prior to joining as a core member of LeLaw’s litigation team, Ejiroghene had garnered significant experience working in some reputable law firms in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial hub. She was heavily involved with litigation, preparing for cases at, and appearing before trial and appellate courts. She also participated in multiple arbitration proceedings in respect of the Agbami oil field disputes, etc. She was part of a team that successfully undertook various recovery suits for AMCON; and also prosecuted several insolvency and bankruptcy suits and achieving significant recoveries for clients. Her transactions experience included advisory engagements in the oil and gas sector, especially refinery projects.
