Going Further Beyond: Corporate Restructuring Reflections on the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020 Single Shareholder Company Regime

One of the innovations birthed by the Companies and Allied Matters Act No. 3 of 2020 (CAMA) is the single shareholder company (SSC); vide section 18(2) CAMA 2020 provision that: “…one person may form and incorporate a private company by complying
with the requirements of this Act in respect of private companies.
